One of the most important items on the agenda in the Western World at the moment is to address the issue to climate change. With scientific research suggesting that global warming is very real and imminent threat to the world, people around the world are looking for new and innovative ways to do their part to limit climate change by reducing their emissions and energy use as an individual and as a household. There are many ways that this can be done such as buying a smaller or more fuel efficient car, by installing loft or cavity wall insulation or by lowering the ambient temperature of the house during the colder months. All of these factors contribute to lower personal energy use and the energy use of the household, ensuring that a small part is played in reducing energy use and minimising emissions.

One of the most critical ways that energy can be saved in the home is by reducing the lost from the house. When heat is lost from the home, the central heating has to be turned up to compensate which requires more energy. The more energy that is required, the more emissions that are sent into the earth’s atmosphere. So the simplest way to reduce energy consumption and to reduce emissions is to reduce the amount of heat lost from the home by fitting the house with proper insulation. The most effective way to do this is by replacing old windows that have poor insulation properties with modern high quality windows that have excellent insulation properties. Such high quality windows are offered by Penguin Windows who also offer a service that is second to none using fully certified installers so look up Penguin Windows today to go green with greater insulation!

A disaster with my car!

Last week I made a huge mistake. I ignored the advice of my mechanic, and decided that I could get away with not changing my cam belt for another few thousand miles. I decided to gamble because I just couldn’t afford to carry out the work, but lo and behold, only three hundred miles later, the cam belt went, and took most of the engine with it! I didn’t know what to do, because the repairs would cost at least eight hundred pounds!
Luckily I had heard about a company called ThinkCash who offered people like me in this situation short term loans. I knew that this was my only option, but I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that the fees for taking such a loan were very reasonable. All I had to do was to pay back ThinkCash back in the allotted time, and this would not be a problem because I was getting paid in about a weeks time! I was so relieved, because I needed the car as soon as possible so that I could get back to work and start earning again! Thank the heavens for Think Cash!

After ten years working together, Cemex and Urbi have managed to ratify their working agreement as they push forward and look forward to another ten years of improving the housing industry in Mexico.
Both companies are tremendously proud of their achievements working together, and as they came together to draw up plans together for the future, time was taken to reflect on a wonderful ten years partnership which had seen a great advancement in the development of housing for the lower income segment of the population.

Renewing their partnership will mean that both companies can continue to improve their work in these areas to further align themselves with their long term visions. Urbi are delighted to be well on their way to finding new initiatives, such as their Cuty Licensee Manager Partnership, and they are only too aware of the need to have strategic allies such as CEMEX Air quality to enable them to make such leaps and bounds.

The alliance has been a great thing for the housing industry in Mexico, and with the alliance renewed; the country can look forward to more new life being breathed into this steadily improving industry.
